We are Sarah and Hannah, the team behind Made Devon CIC.
Together, we are passionate about supporting our local community, championing creativity, and creating opportunities for people to connect, learn, and thrive. Sarah brings experience in design, branding, and community-led projects, while Hannah a talented yarn artist, with a passion for enabling creativity to promote wellness and improving mental health.
By combining our strengths, we work to deliver inspiring projects, workshops, events, and initiatives that celebrate local talent and help strengthen our community across Devon.
Meet Sarah
I'm a designer, artist, and small business owner based in Paignton. I've always been passionate about creativity, community, and supporting independent businesses. Through my own business, Devonmade, I've spent years helping local businesses with branding, design, and marketing, while also creating a welcoming space for people to connect, shop local, and get creative. I've wanted to create a CIC for years, and I'm excited to finally bring that vision to life. I can't wait to offer creative workshops for the local community, helping people connect, learn new skills, and enjoy the benefits of creativity.
Meet Hannah
I am a creative maker, workshop facilitator, and small biz owner with a passion for knitting, crochet, and handmade crafts. Through my work, I have seen first-hand the positive impact that creativity can have on people’s wellbeing, confidence, and sense of connection.
I believe that taking time away from screens and engaging in hands-on creative activities can provide valuable opportunities to slow down, reduce stress, improve mental wellbeing, and build meaningful social connections. Crafting encourages mindfulness, patience, and a sense of achievement, while also bringing people together in a supportive and welcoming environment.
